Meatloaf – Because it’s Cold Outside!

Some said that meteorologists, by just uttering such an outrageous prediction, would jinx the possibility. Maybe so, because it didn’t snow in my San Francisco neighborhood this Saturday. While we are disappointed that we didn’t witness an historic weather event, we are still feeling cold – for us, that is. And we, too, like the rest of this winter-weary country, are craving comfort foods.

Slip Slidin’ Away

We know already that I love burgers. But even more than that, I love little burgers because they have so many benefits. They are tiny so you don’t overeat…well, as long as you limit the number. And they are quick to cook.

If you find yourself, as I did last night, with not an idea in your head as to what to cook for dinner, don’t overlook that last bit of ground beef /bison/chicken/ turkey in your fridge or freezer and remnants of Cheddar or other cheese of your choice. And who doesn’t have pickles in the house?

Game On!

Tickets. Check. Jerseys. Check. Foam Fingers. Check. Stadium Food…. Forget about it.

There’s nothing better than a weekend game, especially when the Lakers and Knicks are playing. But there’s nothing worse than stadium food. Few would argue it’s easier, cheaper and tastier to have your own tailgate party at home. And a classic burger is always on the tailgate party menu for Ben and Nick. Set your kitchen table with your favorite team’s memorabilia and play “Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night” to make dinner fun!
